Her process is one of accumulation and exposure: working in acrylic across multiple layers, she deliberately allows earlier layers to remain visible beneath the surface, letting what came before continue to speak through what comes after. Colour is built up and then partially uncovered again — a physical echo of how memory itself works, never fully erased, never fully intact. Recurring forms — a seed-like orb, a sun or moon suspended in colour, a single branch crossing the frame — surface across her work as quiet anchors: symbols of origin, of continuity, of something taking root.

Drawing on backgrounds in fashion engineering and design and software development, Nicoleta C. combines intuitive mark-making with structural thinking. This dialogue between spontaneity and order defines her visual language — gesture and erasure held in the same breath as compositional precision.

Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across town halls, medical practices, and fashion-forward concept stores, spaces that place art directly within the rhythm of everyday life rather than behind gallery walls. Through ongoing series including Naturzeit, Farbenpoesie, About Roots and Tracks of Becoming, she investigates how identity is continuously formed through the traces of lived experience.
